Transparency is integral to the AcadeMedia model, both internally and externally. It is our obligation to everyone who will choose a preschool or school to accurately report what results we have achieved. Transparency is also essential to the quality work we conduct internally at all levels.
You can take part in the results within our various school forms here.
In the absence of a standardised national evaluation for preschools, AcadeMedia has developed its own technique for reporting results and recommending developments. Assessments are conducted every six months to evaluate each pre-school's methodology and how well it succeeds in relation to the curriculum. This year's reporting shows rising or unchanged values in all categories and an increase in the assessment score to 5.7 (5.6) *. In the 2021/2022 academic year, teaching at AcadeMedia preschools obtained the highest results in Language and communication (5.9) and Norms and values (5.8). The lowest results were in the target areas Culture and Mathematics (both 5.5).
Annual surveys of parents and carers at AcadeMedia preschools find those with the responsibility of raising our pre-schoolers are generally to be largely content. Annual surveys among people with children in any of Academia's Swedish pre-schools can be found to be largely content. In the 2021/22 survey, 87 percent of the guardians said they would recommend their child's preschool and 92 percent stated that their child enjoys pre-school.

The survey also asks questions regarding teaching around values and the general learning environment. One question focused on child safety in preschool – do adults intervene if a child is mistreated? Do preschool staff consider what the child thinks? The results are generally high (around 90 percent select one of the highest answer options). Outcomes around whether the outdoor environment stimulates play and learning (73 percent) and whether the child can have peace and quiet in the preschool (83 percent) show slightly lower satisfaction rates; however, the percentage of guardians who are satisfied overall with the educational activities at their child's preschool is 87 percent.
The latest available survey results for the Norwegian preschools show that satisfaction among parents and carers is 4.5 on a 5-point scale. Our German operations also conducted surveys for 2022 have also carried out this year's surveys. These results will be added once they become available.
*The assessment scale is five-pointed (0, 2, 4, 6 and 8), where the value eight refers to the highest possible quality and a four indicates that the goal fulfilment is fully acceptable in relation to the requirements in the governing documents.

AcadeMedia's preschools regularly monitor the extent to which curriculum goals are met. This evaluation is designed as a self-assessment and the main areas assessed at each preschool are based on the curriculum. The assessment scale is five-pointed (0, 2, 4, 6 and 8), where the value eight refers to the highest possible quality and a four indicates that the goal fulfilment is fully acceptable in relation to the requirements in the governing documents.
In the 2021/2022 academic year, teaching at AcadeMedia preschools obtained the highest results in Language and communication (5.9) and Norms and values (5.8). The lowest results were in the target areas Culture and Mathematics (both 5.5).
