AcadeMedia announces changes in its Executive Management Team

Katarina Wilson, CFO at AcadeMedia since 2019 has been offered and accepted the role of deputy CEO at AcadeMedia. Karl Sandlund, COO and member of the executive management team, will leave for a new assignment outside of AcadeMedia.

In the role of deputy CEO, Katarina Wilson assumes responsibility for AcadeMedia’s operational activities from the COO. Katarina will leave her current role as CFO when a new CFO has been appointed. A recruitment process has been initiated.

Katarina Wilson joined AcadeMedia in 2016 and assumed the role of CFO in 2019. She has a Master of Science degree from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK.

Karl Sandlund has decided to leave his role as COO for a new assignment outside AcadeMedia. Karl Sandlund was appointed to the then new role of COO in August 2022 with responsibility for AcadeMedia’s operational activities. Karl Sandlund will leave AcadeMedia in June 2023.
