Risks and risk management

Exposure to risks is a natural element in business activity and AcadeMedia therefore has an extensive risk management plan. The focus is on identifying risks, preventing risks from arising and preparing action plans to limit any damage caused by these risks. Several types of risk can be eliminated through internal routines, while others, which are to a greater extent outside the Company’s control, can be minimized with the help of various policies, action plans and training. AcadeMedia categorizes risks as operating, external and financial. There may be risks unknown to the Company that may have a significant impact on the Group’s operations, financial position, and/or earnings. From a sustainability perspective, the most significant risks are those related to the supply of qualified employees and to premises. How we manage these risks is an important aspect of our stakeholder engagement.
